Vera Tollmann studied Cultural Studies in Hildesheim and Liverpool. From 2004 to 2006 she worked as programme curator for the international media art festival transmediale in Berlin. As an independant curator, she recently curated the group exhibition Hands-on history and the video programme Picturing free knowledge. She publishes articles on internet issues and contemporary art. Her text 'I will chocolate you' deals with the internet use in China and the role of the western world, published in springerin. She lives in Berlin.
